Dabarym/Deut 18:20

Dabarym/Deut 18:20

-by Y`anah Kathath

Yahuah tells us, or warns us rather, not to call on the name of another mighty one. Because He is a jealous Alahym (Exod 20:5, Exod 34:14, Deut 4:24, 5:8-9, 6:15). He does not share His esteem with another and He hates it when we give our affection over to another Name―or mighty one (Exod 23:13, Isa 42:8, 48:11). Here is where he warns us about calling on the name of another mighty one other than Himself…

Dabarym/Deut 18:20 ‘But the nabya/prophet who presumes to speak a word in My Name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other mighty ones, even that nabya/prophet shall die.’

If anyone claims that any of the nabya/prophets in the Old Testament said, or pointed anyone towards another mighty one to worship and esteem that mighty ones name, other than Yahuah/יהוה, then that guy is sentenced to death by Yahuah/יהוה! The New Testament is utterly peppered with suggestions and even commands its readers to call on another mighty one…that mighty one is known today as THE MESSIAH. No nabya/prophet takes precedence over what Yahuah/יהוה says in His Law. There is no nabya/prophet that can put Yahuah/יהוה in a back seat. You might want to study this out and see what Yahuah/יהוה really says about the names of other mighty ones (Exod 23:13). We have been indoctrinated since our youth. Don’t be a fool…inquire of Him about this.

The following, is a list of passages I collected that clearly teaches us to speak of another name and to call on another name, other than Yahuah/יהוה. Teachers of the New Testament claim that Yahuah told this guy to speak those words that were written on those pages; to teach his followers that The Most High sent him to tell us to call on his name so that The Most High will be esteemed in this. The book of Dabarym/Deut teaches something entirely different. In fact, it has the fortitude and authority to crush the New Testament doctrine completely. Compare this warning in Dabarym with each of these passages.

Acts 9:29 and speaking boldly in the Name of the Master יהושע and disputed with the Hellenists, but they undertook to kill him.

Acts 21:13 And Sh’aul answered, “What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Yarushalam for the Name of the Master יהושע.”

Acts 19:5 And when they heard this, they were immersed in the Name of the Master יהושע.

Acts 16:18 And she was doing this for many days. But Sh’aul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the Name of יהושע Messiah to come out of her.” And it came out that same hour.

Acts 15:26 men who have given up their lives for the Name of our Master יהושע Messiah.

Acts 10:48 And he commanded them to be immersed in the Name of יהושע Messiah. Then they asked him to remain a few days.

Acts 10:43 “To this One all the prophets bear witness, that through His Name, everyone believing in Him does receive forgiveness of sins.

Acts 9:27 But Barnaḇah took him and brought him to the emissaries, and told them how he had seen the Master on the way, and that He had spoken to him, and how he was speaking boldly at Damascus in the Name of יהושע.

Acts 9:21 And all who heard were amazed, and said, “Is this not he who destroyed those calling on this Name in Yarushalam, and has come here for this, to take them bound to the chief priests?”

Acts 9:14 and here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all those calling on Your Name.

Acts 9:15 But the Master said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My Name before nations, sovereigns, and the children of Yisra’ĕl.

Acts 9:16 “For I shall show him how much he has to suffer for My Name.”

Acts 8:16 for He had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been immersed in the Name of the Master יהושע.

Acts 8:12 And when they believed Philip as he brought the Good News about the reign of Elohim and the Name of יהושע Messiah, both men and women were immersed.

Acts 5:40 And they heeded his advice, and having called for the emissaries, beating them, they commanded that they should not speak in the Name of יהושע, and let them go.

Acts 5:41 Then indeed they went rejoicing from the presence of the council, because they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His Name.

Acts 4:30 by stretching out Your hand for healing, and signs, and wonders to take place through the Name of Your set-apart Servant יהושע.”

Acts 2:38 And Kĕpha said to them, “Repent, and let each one of you be immersed in the Name of יהושע Messiah for the forgiveness of sins. And you shall receive the gift of the Set-apart Spirit.

John 16:26 “In that day you shall ask in My Name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father on your behalf,

John 16:23 “And in that day you shall ask Me none at all. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My Name He shall give you.

John 15:16 “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name He might give you.

Remember what the warning said… Dabarym/Deut 18:20 ‘But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My Name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other mighty ones, even that prophet shall die.’

John 15:21 “But all this they shall do to you because of My Name, because they do not know Him who sent Me.

John 14:26 “But the Helper, the Set-apart Spirit, whom the Father shall send in My Name, He shall teach you all, and remind you of all that I said to you.

John 14:14 If you ask whatever in My Name, I shall do it.

This discredits what YAHUAH says about sharing HIS ESTEEM with another in Isa 42:8

John 14:13 “And whatever you ask in My Name, that I shall do, in order that the Father might be esteemed in the Son.

Now let’s see what Yahuah has to say about this…

YashaYahu/Isa 42:8 “I am Yahuah/יהוה, that is My Name, and My esteem I do not give to another, nor My praise to idols.

This messiah IS another Mighty one! Check it out…

John 20:28 And T’oma answered and said to Him, “My Master and my MIGHTY ONE!

This verse discredits what is said in The Law of Yahuah, Deut 30:20 about what NAME life comes from…

John 20:31 but these have been written so that you believe that יהושע is the Messiah, the Son of Alahym, and that, believing, you might possess life in His Name.

So, what is the real name to call on that we may possess life? Let’s look at what Yahuah/יהוה said…

Dabarym/Deut 30:20 to love Yahuah/יהוה your Alahym, to obey His voice, and to cling to Him – for He is your life and the length of your days to dwell in the land which יהוה swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Yatschaq, and to Yaqob, to give them.” (Deut 32:47)

These next 3 verses give top billing to messiahs name…discrediting what Joel 2:32 says…

Acts 4:10-12 let it be known to all of you, and to all the people of Yisra’ĕl, that in the Name of יהושע Messiah of Natsareth, whom you impaled, whom Alahym raised from the dead, by Him this one stands before you, healthy. 11“This is ‘the stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ 12And there is no deliverance in anyone else, for there is no other Name under the heaven given among men by which we need to be saved.”

What does Joel 2:32 say?

Joel 2:32 “And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of Yahuah/יהוה shall be delivered. For on Mount Tsyun and in Yarushalam there shall be an escape as Yahuah/יהוה has said, and among the survivors whom Yahuah/יהוה calls.

These verses discredits what Yahuah says in Dabarym/Deut 32:39 suggesting that healing and life comes from a different name or another mighty one

Acts 4:10 let it be known to all of you, and to all the people of Yasharʿal, that in the Name of יהושע Messiah of Natsareth, whom you impaled, whom Alahym raised from the dead, by Him this one stands before you, healthy.

Acts 3:6 But Kĕpha said, “I do not have silver and gold, but what I do possess, this I give you: In the Name of יהושע Messiah of Natsareth, rise up and walk.”

Acts 3:16 “And by the belief in His Name, this one whom you see and know, His Name made strong, and the belief which comes through Him has given him this perfect healing before all of you.

Yahuah says this…

Dabarym/Deut 32:39 ‘See now that I, I am He, and there is no Alahym besides Me. I put to death and I make alive. I have wounded, and I heal. And from My hand no one delivers!

Pick one:

YAHUAH OR MESSIAH.

It is because of Dabarym/Deut 18:20, that mixing Messiah with Yahuah is not according to His Word. His Word are the commands and warnings written in the Turah. Consider this word here…

Hos 13:4 “But I am יהוה your Alahym since the land of Matsarym, and an Alahym besides Me you shall not know, for there is no Savior besides Me.

Dabarym/Deut 18:20 ‘But the nabya/prophet who presumes to speak a word in My Name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other mighty ones, even that nabya/prophet shall die.’ (Exod 23:13)
